Before rail vehicles can be delivered to the end customer, they usually have to undergo a demanding and, above all, lengthy test and approval phase. However, this is the period when prototypes need a home base as the future client depot is often not (yet) available for activities such as setting up the measurement technology or testing and maintenance work, or the new trains would disrupt the regular routines there. This is what we are here for and so we warmly welcome our customers and their vehicles to our “Zughotel” (hotel for trains) in Braunschweig. A safe haven not just for the trains, but also for the people looking after them.
